ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
From 26 August through 1 October 2011, Herbert Stepic, Chief Executive Officer of Raiffeisen Bank International, is presenting his collection of African art in an exhibition titled "AFRIKA.AFRIQUE.AFRICA".
Over the course of more than 30 years, Stepic has collected over 400 wood, metal and terracotta objects, as well as woven and pearl pieces. Some of the exhibits are around 2,500 years old, while others are contemporary products. Most objects originate in the Cameroon grasslands. A part of the collection, complemented by pearl and gold objects on loan, are now be on public display for the first time.
